The handing over ceremony which was held at the state-of-the-art Chandaria Centre for Performing Arts was presided over by the Chairman of Council, Dr. Idle Farah. Upon receiving the key to the University Towers, Dr. Farah thanked all those who have contributed to the successful completion of the building. Dr. Farah was accompanied by other members of Council.

At the 56th University of Nairobi’s graduation ceremony, over 8,500 graduands were conferred with Degrees and awarded Diplomas. A record 56 PhDs, 2477 Masters degrees and 49 postgraduate diplomas were among the awards presented.
