Application is done through the Online Self Sponsored Students Application
System. Kenyan citizens pay a non-refundable application fee of KES 3000/=
for Masters and Postgraduate Diplomas and KES 4000/= for Doctor of
Philosophy (PhD). Non-Kenyan citizens to pay US$ 50 or its equivalent.

Applicants should attach certified (by the issuing institution) copies of
degree certificates and academic transcripts.

The University of Nairobi Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Peter M. F. Mbithi presided over the launch of the Online Application Information System that will ease University application process. The system was launched today March, 14, 2016 at the Central Catering Unit.

Speaking during the launch, the Vice-Chancellor noted the online application system was being launched and will help the University management in decisions being driven by technology innovations.  Prof. Mbithi thanked the University Information and Communication Technology, ICT and Kenya Commercial Bank teams that worked to ensure success of the system. KCB will implement the payment gateway of the online application system.
